gfal2-dbg software package provides Debug symbols for the gfal 2.0 library and its plugins, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfal2-dbg
gfal2-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfal2-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfal2-dbg *
You will get with gfal2-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
